Product OverviewThe MAX1484EUB+ is a full duplex, high-speed RS485/RS422 transceiver in 10 pinµMAX package. This device is functionally equivalent to the industry standardMAX491 and 75180 and is designed for space constrained, full duplex RS422applications. The driver slew rate is not limited allowing it to transmit up to12Mbps. Driver is output short circuit current limited and is protected againstexcessive power dissipation by thermal-shutdown circuitry that places the driveroutputs into a high impedance state.
