Product OverviewThe MAX3085CPA+ is a fail-safe, slew rate limited RS485/RS422 transceiver in 8pin DIP package. The fail-safe circuitry in this device features a logic highreceiver output when receiver inputs are open or shorted, it means that thereceiver output will be a logic high if all transmitters on a terminated bus aredisabled (high impedance). This device offer higher driver output slew ratelimits allowing transmit speed up to 500Kbps.
