What makes this collection so special is the above average condition of the coins. I would grade the average condition as ABOVE Very Fine with some in Uncirculated condition.

Many of the coins have a catalogue value of OVER a hundred rands EACH.

There are also many varieties included: - as can be seen from some dates being duplicated. The dates are 1860, 1862, 1865 (x2), 1866, 1867, 1868, 1873, 1874, 1875 (x2) 1878, 1880, 1881 (x 3), 1882, 1883, 1884, 1885, 1885, 1887, 1888, 1892, 1893, 1895, 1896, 1897 (x2), 1898, 1899, 1900 and 1901.
