Hardcover first printing published 1959 in Great Britain by Hodder & Stoughton. The price-clipped jacket is otherwise whole, but rubbed and marked, with wear and chips to edges. The blue cloth boards with gilt titling are clean and square, but faded. Light shelf soil and a small blemish to external page edges. Remnant of a bookseller label to inside front board, part of which was stuck to the page opposite. Tanning to end-papers, but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked.
