Comfrey Special

This magical plant has a deep tap root that pulls up nutrients that are essential for the growth of your fruits, vegetables and flowers. 

You can use it as a companion plant and the leaves that dies back will form a nutrient rich mulch that provides your crops with nutrients and helps retain moisture in the soil so you can do less watering. 

You can use the leaves in your compost pile to encourage faster breaking down of matter. 

The leaves are also excellent for skin ailments and reducing wrinkles. The roots (hence the name knitbone) can be used as poultice to heal broken bones. 

This should however not be consumed as it has a high level of alkaloids that may cause liver damage.
