The Toki was a tribal leader in Chile during the 15th Century war times. The epic poetry La Araucana describes its Chilean inhabitants as: the people are so extraordinary, so proud, gallant, and bellicose, that they have never been ruled by a king, nor foreign dominion submitted. This knife rescues the strength of those primitive warriors.
The Toki knife has a full tang blade with a finger grip that facilitates carving or other tasks that require greater precision. It has a drop point and convex edge, which also allow for greater efficiency, especially in hard work. Its curved handle in the back has a 90 degree striker for fire starting with ferrocerium rods. It also have a concave notch of excellent diameter, which allows the faster and more stable spinning for use as a Bowdrill.
its wide blade and slender handle lend it to hard, heavy use and it includes a handcrafted welted leather drop sheath with 1095 percussion fire starter.
