The Shore Rubber Hardness Tester is an instrument for measuring the hardness of vulcanized rubber and plastic products. The instrument has three types: Type A, Type D and Type C Type A and Type D are respectively suitable for testing low and medium hardness and high hardness materials. Type C is suitable for testing the hardness of microporous materials for shoes made with a combination of rubber and plastic when the compression is 50% and the stress is above 0.049MPa.
