Hardcover published by Hodder & Stoughton, 4th impression December 1954. The jacket has minor loss to the head and foot of the spine, and several other small tears and scrapes to the edges, and rubbing to the faces. The boards are square and solid, with small patches of sunning corresponding to the parts missing from the jacket, and a few small white paint / ink marks on the back. The front paste down contains the signature of a previous owner in pen. A very few pages have been bumped on the edge, and creased, and the tops of the pages are lightly dust soiled, but all are otherwise clean and unmarked. "Peter Churchill describes his experiences as an organiser of Resistance in the South-East of France. He relates his meeting with Arnaud, his radio-operator, and with Lise - now universally known by her real name, Odette."
