Hardcover, published by Juta & Co., Ltd, undated although the preface is dated 1936. The card jacket is rubbed and edge-worn, and the spine and folds are sunned / soiled. The reverse has been reinforced with tape in places. The boards are clean and square, but the extremities are mildly worn. The first and last few pages have some spotting and patches of age-browning. The first end paper has a pen gift inscription, and some pencil figures. The rest of the pages are otherwise clean and well-bound.
