Elegant Vintage Silver-Plated Dessert Stand
This beautiful, good quality, silver-plated, two-tiered dessert or sweet stand from the 1950/60's is well made and in great condition. It has a large oval ring handle with two round trays, one slightly smaller than the other, and stands on three round bun feet. The stand was made by the 'Regal Silverplate' company in Australia, and would be ideal for serving cupcakes, macaroons, biscuits, sweets etc. It is stamped on the edge of the base 'REGAL A1 SPC' (Silverplate on Copper), and it all comes apart for ease of cleaning. It stands 30cm high, with the top tray measuring 16,5cm in diameter, the other measuring 20cm in diameter, with both having a depth of 3,5cm and it weighs 870g.
