Home in Your Pack - The modern handbook of backpacking by Bradford Angier published by Stackpole Books Harrisburg Pennsylvania 1965.

This book is a boon to hunters, campers, hikers, fishermen, vacationers or just one who would be a twentieth-century wayfarer, this how-to-do-it manual details places to go, the kinds of packs, equipment to take, clothes to wear and pack, food to satisfy, trail recipes to try to get you off to woods and trails so that even your first trip is fun. It also shows you what and how to pack, how to keep warm, how to sleep well, how to enjoy a trail. It tells you about tents, shelters, instant foods. first aid, campfires, sleeping bags, foot care. Home in Your Pack packs in the experience and tips about travelling with what you carry so your outdoor adventure is a happier one.

The dust jacket which is really scuffed and looks some what tatty has protected the book quite well. Fore pages and fly pages have some dust marks.
