Homocysteine is a sulphur containing amino- acid formed during the metabolism of methionine to cysteine. At high levels it can cause damage to the lining (endothelium) of the arteries and may cause blood clotting thus leading to an increase in heart attacks, blood clots and strokes.

Because of a mutation in the MTHFR gene, certain medical conditions, and some medications inhibit the body's ability to process (methylate) folic acid and other Vitamin B's. A supplement with at least 1000 mg of TMG, methylated folate and good quality and quantities of Vit B12 and Vit B6 assists in reducing homocysteine levels, thus reducing cardiovascular risk.

Dosage: 
Take (1 2 capsules) daily with food or as advised by your healthcare provider.
