Joannes de Laet Iaerlyck Verhael van de Verrichtingen der Geoctroyeerde West-Indische Compagnie in derthien Beocken. Parts one to four inclusive, complete. Part 1 comprises books I - III, part 2 comprises books IV - VII, part 3 comprises books VIII - X, and the fourth, books XI - XIII. Hardcovers published 1931, 1932, 1934 and 1937 respectively by'S-Gravenhage Martinus Nijhoff, no jackets. Volumes of the "Werken Uitgegeven door De Linschoten-Vereeniging", XXXIV, XXXV, XXXVII and XL (being volumes 34, 35, 37 and 40 of the series of 118 volumes published, the last in 2019), "Uitgegeven door S.P. L'Honoré Naber", and the fourth part with J.C.M. Warnsinck. Each book in similar condition to the other, all having some surface insect damage; however the fourth part much more so than the other three books. The boards are clean and square, with some very light wear to extremities. Part 1 contains a loosely inserted page "Corrigenda en Addenda bij het Eerste Deel", that is tanned. The pages are crisp, clean and unmarked, but there are several pairs of unopened pages in all volumes. All fold-out and removable maps within all parts are present and intact.
