We never mention on any items that we sell genuine Apple accessories. We sell big-brand generics that are much cheaper than the price of originals. On the auction for the item you bought, we even mentioned that these were the Amzer generic brand. The generics are just as good and cost a lot cheaper. As you mentioned : "It works just as good!".
