It shows typical varietal characteristics with a berry-like nose , which , together with fruit , carries through to the palate. The soft green walnut flavour has blended well with subtle oak character , providing complexity and a lingering aftertaste.
KWV PINOTAGE 1998,5 Bottels off wine is medium to full-bodied with a deep red colour. The fruity nose, also evident in the soft rounded sweet plum flavours , is given firmness by a hint of oak .The wine is smooth on the palate and has a lingering aftertaste.
