The large vintage 18ct yellow gold dress ring is claw-set with a central, large, oval modified brilliant-cut amethyst (approximately 18.7mm x 14.9mm x 11.5mm - circa 19ct colour: medium, strong, purple; clarity: eye-clean). The amethyst is surrounded by eight single, round brilliant-cut diamonds and another eight pairs of small, round, eight-cut diamonds (The larger eight diamonds are circa 0.06ct each and the smaller 16 diamonds are circa 0.03ct each).
The ring is marked 18ct.
