Edge of Tomorrow tells the story of Major William Cage (Tom Cruise), an inexperienced public relations officer forced into a suicide mission against powerful aliens called Mimics. After being killed in his first battle, he wakes up to discover he's trapped in a time loop, forced to relive the same brutal day over and over. With the help of veteran warrior Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt) and gaining combat experience with each repeated death, Cage gets closer to finding a way to defeat the alien invaders and save humanity.
