Product OverviewThe MAX203CPP+G36 is a +5V, RS232 transceiver in 20 pin DIP package. It is aRS232 and V.28 transceiver with integrated charge pump circuitry for single +5Vsupply operation. It consists of three sections such as charge pump voltageconverters, drivers (transmitters) and receivers. The integrated charge pumpcircuitry eliminates the need for bipolar ±12V supply and enables single supplyoperation from +5V or 9V to +12V. The driver maintains the ±5V EIA/TIA-232Eoutput signal levels at data rates in excess of 120Kbps when loaded inaccordance with the EIA/TIA-232E specification.
