Product OverviewThe MAX9157EHJ+ is a quad bus LVDS (BLVDS) transceiver in 32 pin TQFP package.This transceiver is used with heavily loaded, half duplex multipoint buses.Small package and flow through pin-out allow the transceiver to be placed nearthe connector for shortest possible stub length. The MAX9157 drives LVDS levelsinto 27ohm load (double terminated, heavily loaded LVDS bus) at up to 200Mbps.An input fail-safe circuit ensures receiver output is high when differentialinputs are open or undriven and shorted or undriven and terminated. Thedifferential input has 52mV hysteresis for greater immunity to bus noise andreflections. The MAX9157 operates from a single 3.3V supply and consumes 80.9mAsupply current with drivers enabled and 22.7mA with drivers disabled.
