Product OverviewThe MAX9926UAEE+ is a variable reluctance sensor interface with differentialinput and adaptive peak threshold in 16 pin QSOP package. The variablereluctance (VR or magnetic coil) sensor interface device is ideal for positionand speed sensing for automotive crankshafts, camshafts and transmission shafts.This device integrates a precision amplifier and comparator with selectableadaptive peak threshold and zero crossing circuit blocks that generate robustoutput pulses even in the presence of substantial system noise or extremely weakVR signals. The MAX9926 combine matched resistors with a CMOS input precisionoperational amplifier to give high CMRR over a wide range of input frequenciesand temperatures. The MAX9926 differential amplifier provides a fixed gain of1V/V.
