Our product includes Schisandra Chinesis which has been known and valued in Chinese medicine for at least 2000 years. It is valued in Chinese medicine as a youth tonic and is used to treat weakness and exhaustion. Research has shown Schisandra extracts enhance concentration and are helpful in improving memory. In addition it strengthens and quickens the reflexes, and increases efficiency in stress related tests. The product also contains Rosemary, which has long been used to improve memory and concentration.
The formulation includes a number of herbs which are known to be beneficial for improving memory, mental clarity and helping with fatigue to maximise the efficacy of the product.
Dosage:
1 teaspoon of dried herb infused into a cup of hot water. Strain and drink. Sweet with honey to taste if required. Repeat as required. Can take 4-6 weeks, sometimes as long as 12 weeks to notice the effects.
Cautions:
- Don't take if pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Do not use if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients - if allergic reaction occurs discontinue use.
- Avoid if experiencing feverish chills and conditions involving heat.
- Large doses may cause heartburn, gastro-intestinal symptoms, dizziness and fainting.
- A headache may occur when starting to use this tea.
- Avoid if taking anticoagulants (blood-thinning agents e.g. warfarin, aspirin), or if you have a bleeding disorder.
- Do not give to children under 16 years of age.
- Do not take Rosemary if anaemic, and avoid taking rosemary and iron supplements at the same time.
- Use with caution if you have epilepsy, as it contains camphor, which is associated with convulsions.
- Do not take if you have low blood pressure as hawthorn lowers blood pressure.
- Keep out of reach of children.
