A lovely set of engravings of 19 military manoevres and then inspection and review patterns, over 200 years old! Clean condition with a bit of foxing on the side edges. Can be cleaned for you if desired but I have left them as is as some people like the impression of great age. On the original woven demy paper. 21 cm x 27 cm. each From the Cyclopaedia by Rees, published in 1820, though these engravings were prepared in advance between the years 1804 and 1806. Hand signed with monograms on the back. Fantastic detail and explanatory notes on all engravings. Would frame well as a set. Valuable reference.
