Moulin Rouge by Pierre la Mure (1st 1951) Novel based on life of Henri De Toulouse-Lautrec. A5, Hard cover, 448 pages. Cover bit worn. Book in good readable condition.

Pierre La Mure has written a great book about Toulouse-Lautrec, his family, his life in Paris with all the famous artists & the nightclubs of Montmartre. Henri de Toulouse-Latrec experienced a life of deformity and disappointment. He left an artistic legacy beyond praise or price. Though his friends were the great personages of his time, he was perpetually lonely. Though educated and witty his life was a continual and desperate search for romantic love and happiness.
