POOLE POTTERY MUSHROOM AND SEPIA (C54)

Mushroom and Sepia (pattern code C54) is from Poole Pottery's Twintone range.

It was produced initially before the Second World War, and then reintroduced in the 1950's and production continued into the 1980's. The length of the production run clearly indicates the popularity of this pattern.

Twintone was produced in many different colour combinations, but Mushroom and Sepia is one of the four or five colourings that were sold in greatest quantities by Poole Pottery, and for which there still a great demand.

Obviously, since the production ceased over 20 years ago, it has now become quite difficult to obtain items of Mushroom and Sepia in good condition.

These 7 pieces are in very good condition, and date from around 1950.
