Softcover with faux leather wraps, published by Vikingsprent 1943. This book was possibly issued to US forces stationed in Iceland duing World War Two, as the title page states "Passed By U.S. Army Base Censor In Iceland", and another stamp declares "Not To Be Mailed By U.S. Forces". Illustrated with black and white photographs by Oskar Bjarnason. The book is generally lightly worn, and one of the first photographic plates is beginning to separate from the spine.
