This is an original handpainted RAF Squadron 50 wall plaque. It has not been cleaned. It shows the post-1953 queen's crown.
Squadron 50 was formed in 1915 for home defence during WW1, and was based in Dover. It disbanded in 1919, and reformed in 1937. Disbanded in 1984.
