These pieces are in an GOOD, USED CONDITION-Camouflage Graphic Design Paint Relief is present and detailed.Item remains in a Good State and has been utilised. Signs of Wear evident due to handling. Canister appears complete with securing lid. Internal aluminum sleeve & retention spring evident. One additional Lens and cellulose sleeves present. No Webbing  Straps . Original Owner details legible.

An EXCELLENT example of a RARE, World War 2 , 1940s German GM38 'Gasmasken Büchse' Canister w/ Additional Lens. This assortment appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Olive Green Camouflage Paint Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Canister engages and closes well , with locking mechanism. 

Three-point suspension bales remain complete- NOTE : NO WEBBING STRAPS. All necessary markings and date stamps are present and legible. This piece will display signs of Wear commensurate with age and combat usage. The additional Gasmask Lens  , retains the original cellulose protection sleeves. 

The Type 3 , GM38 Canister was introduced in 1942 - and featured an internal aluminum protection sleeve and cleaning cloth retention spring. All examples of this variant featured a 'D' impressed on the Canister base for easy identification. 

The ideal addition to any German  Second World War Era personal kit  collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their assortment.
