A vibrant and thoughtfully curated album featuring an array of aerogrammes and postal stationery from South Africa and its former Homelands, with a strong thematic focus on birds. Of particular note are the Bophuthatswana aerogrammes, which are seldom encountered and showcase striking avian imagery. The inclusion of all four Homelands (Transkei, Ciskei, Venda and Bophuthatswana) makes this a well-rounded and desirable thematic holding.

Adding a delightful twist, the lot also features Post Office Telegram stationery, including the rarely seen Greeting Telegrams.
