Sweet Rocket Eruca Sativa has deeply divided foliage with pale yellow flowers with violet veined petals. Seeds pods has an apical beak and contains several seeds. Rocket is mainly used in salads and has a spicy almost mustardy flavour. It is also very medicinal. Rocket is rich in iron, chlorophyll and vitamins and is antiscorbutic. It is a digestive which can help cleanse the body of pollutants and should be included in daily diet to help with anemia, digestive upsets, fluid retention, bladder ailments, malnutrition, scurvy and vitamin deficiencies. Rocket does not enjoy the hot summer heat so plant in a semi-shaded area in summer months, it grows well in colder months and taste better during colder temperatures.

Rocket bolts easily and is good at self-sowing.
