Product OverviewThe ISO7521CDWR is a dual-channel Digital Isolator provides galvanic isolationof up to 4243VRMS for 1 minute per UL and 6000VPK per VDE. It is also certifiedto 5000VRMS reinforced insulation per end equipment standards IEC 60950-1, IEC61010-1 and IEC 60601-1. Each isolation channel has a logic input and outputbuffer separated by a silicon oxide (SiO2) insulation barrier. Used inconjunction with isolated power supplies, these devices prevent noise currentson a data bus or other circuits from entering the local ground and interferingwith or damaging sensitive circuitry. It has TTL input thresholds and canoperate from 3.3 and 5V supplies. All inputs are 5V tolerant when supplied from3.3V supplies. It is specified for signalling rates up to 1Mbps.
