By The Rev. John Milner, B.A., Chaplain; and Oswald W. Brierly. Hardcover second edition published 1869 by Wm. H. Allen and Co. The boards are scuffed, marked and worn, with beginnings of fraying to head and foot of the spine. Prize award label to front paste-down, and owner details dated June 1882 to page opposite. Cracks to gutters at both front and rear paste-downs, showing netting, and the spine covering has come adrift of the text block. The gilt-edged pages are clean and unmarked.
