Housed in a lift-off box the game is spread across 3 x 5.25" floppy disk and the box includes the original registration card, manual and a separate sheet that originally appeared at the back of the box under the shrinkwrap featuring a different outlay of the back cover. Also includes a double-sided card advertising the official Hint Book for the game.

All media is in excellent condition with no damage to the box (showing minimal shelf wear on the bottom only). A bargain at this price, similar sets are selling between R3000 and R5000

Based on Stephen King's popular horror novel, The Dark Half attempts to retell the story of Thad Beaumont's mysterious world of crime via an adventure system reminiscent of Lucasarts' SCUMM interface.

In-game, you play Thad Beaumont, a successful horror-novelist whose evil twin besets the world with horrific crimes. The game offers a multitude of clues, quests and puzzles. The overall objective seems to be to prove Thad's innocence to the police, however Thad soon learns that his twin has other ideas, and has to run for his life.
