Hardcover first English edition, fourth reprint 1955, published by Methuen & Co., Ltd. The jacket is worn and torn, with tape repairs to the reverse, and is now protected in cellophane. The blue cloth boards are clean, with a slight lean to the spine, fraying to corners, and patches of sunning corresponding to the tears in the jacket. The pages are clean and unmarked.
