Andrew Zondo (1966 - 1986) was an Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK) operative. He detonated a bomb at Sanlam Centre in Amanzimtoti on 23 December 1985, killing five people.

Zondo was prosecuted, found guilty and sentenced to death. He was executed in Pretoria on 9 September 1986. 


Fatima Meer (1928   2010) was a South African writer, academic, screenwriter, and prominent anti-apartheid activist.
