THESE EXQUISITE TRANSFERWARE PLATES WITH A SCOTTISH BAGPIPER IN THE CENTRE AND LOCH LOMOND, BALMORAL CASTLE, EDINBURGH CASTLE AND THE TROSSACHS IN ROUND MEDALLIONS ON THE EDGES WITH THISTLES DECORATING THE SPACES BETWEEN EACH MEASURE 25.5cm ACROSS. THE PLATES ARE REPRODUCES FROM ENGRAVING WITH THE BLUE AND WHITE PLATE TITLED “SCOTTISH PRIDE” AND THE BROWN AND WHITE PLATE IS TITLED “GLORIOUS SCOTLAND”. THERE ARE NO CHIPS OR CRACKS IN EITHER OF THE PLATES, BUT SOME CRAZING IS EVIDENT. THE PLATES WERE MADE BY ROYAL FALCON IRONSTONE FOR WEATHERBY GIFTWARE.
