Victorian Oak Sliding Table (Extention Table) on original casters by the National Furniture Company Williamsport USA 

Circa 1882 - 1892 

These Oak sliding tables (Extension Tables) are extremely rare and you just dont find them  certainly not in this condition. Every part of this Oak table is original from the coasters to the joints to the sliding mechanism. It is also branded underneath by the National Furniture Company Williamsport USA. 

Absolute superb craftsmanship and 138 years later this table is solid and sturdy with all five legs. Literally the only defect on it is burn marks from the stove top irons they used back then (Photo provided) This can be sanded out however I feel this just adds to the character and history of this table 

Unextended the table measures (L) 106.5cm (B) 81cm (H) 76cm. 

Fully extended measures (L) 173cm (B) 81cm (H) 76cm 

The photos I have taken does not do this table justice. It's a beautiful Antique piece which I'm hoping will go to a good home.
