Vintage 1930's set of Banda carpet bowls in original box with rules booklet and rubber toe mat

This is a vintage set of Banda carpet bowls dating from around the 1930's, manufactured by Brookes & Adams Ltd. in Birmingham, England. It comes complete in its original box, and includes the Rules booklet and a rubber toe mat.

There are eight bowls, differentiated by coloured buttons surrounding the plain white jack.

They are all in a very good vintage condition.

This set also includes the Rules book that shows its age with a fair amount of foxing but is otherwise intact and clear. This is usually the first thing that goes missing so quite rare to find it still with the set.  

The rubber toe mat is also present and in a very good condition.

The box has certainly seen better days but despite its shabby appearance it is intact and stable with only the exterior of the box showing a fair amount of wear and two small tears at the back where the lid opens.

A fun game in a good vintage condition to add to your collection or to entertain the family.
