February 1971 Seiko 6119-8640 Gene Kranz
Eugene Francis Kranz (born August 17, 1933) is an American space engineer, a former fighter pilot, and a retired and manager. Kranz served as NASA's second Chief Flight Director, directing missions of the and programs, including the first lunar landing mission, .
This watch has been serviced and is keeping within 4 seconds per day, movement is a 6119c automatic, dimensions are 38mm with a bi directional bezel and everything is original.
The watch is in overall great direction however the dial which was originally silver has turned a golden brown in certain areas with a neon blue around certain indices. the only negative about the dial is the watch was left for 12 years in the 14 minutes to 7 time which has left a a non patinaed mark on the dial, this is however hardly noticeable as the dial is constantly changing due to the light and angle.
It does wear extremely well and flat due to the case shape and comes with a leather nato single pass strap which suits the dial perfectly.
