Vintage Tilley Model X246 Guardsman pressure lantern. I would date this lantern to between late 1954 - October 1956. The fount is plated and the Tilley name is stamped on the side, and lantern has no date mark at the bottom of the fount. It has a black enamel round top ventilator and straight globe cage legs. The lantern is in fairly good (untested) condition, but has some surface rust especially to the ventilator top. The Tilley 171 glass globe is in perfect condition - no chips or cracks. Great buy for the collector. Unfortunately I cannot combine lantern shipping due to the fragility of the glass shade.
