An EXCELLENT example of a .925 Silver WW1 British War Medal with Silk Ribbon - as Awarded to a Native Soldier in the 1st Battalion Kings African Rifles Regiment. The 1st Battalion, along with the 2nd & 3rd Kings African Rifles , consisted of the Western Force engaged against German Forces under Von Lettow-Vorbeck in East Africa.
