The last time you sold me an item it was advertised as new but when I received it it was used, pen broken and the software missing, based on this I confirmed via email that I would be sending somebody to verify the goods are new prior to payment been made.

Unfortunately Digital Planet has let me down again, I have done business with them 4 times and only been successful once. Unfortunately they continue messing their clients around and sooner than later it will catch up with them.

The problem with this deal is that the seller was so remote that the shipment costs were in the end almost as much as the bid itself. Granted he offered to send it to the nearest major centre but this was at my cost. Taking this into consideration and that I expected to cover the cost ex JHB the item would cost more than buying it in my own town, I responded to the SNC filed and this was acepted as reasonable but obviosly the seller expects me to purchase regardless of the hiden costs.
I got a quatation of R600 to ship the Hardtop (canopy) to Johannesburg. It couldn't cost more than that to get it to Durban. The bid was R3000. That bring the total cost to R4200. There is no way that you can buy an origanal aluminium Land Rover Hardtop for R4200. The cheapest fibreglass bakkie canopy would be around R5000. All I ask is: Think of the consequences before you bid on a item! Responded 29 Dec 2005
The info sent to me from Bidorbuy reflected that the sellere wa based in Durban abot 10Km from me. This was not the case at all as he was several 100km from me. I was concerned about this, the seller offered to send the item to a relative in Durban and based on this I was happy to conclude face to face, this never materialized. Having had bad experinces like this before.. I am still happy to buy the item provided it is face to face as this is a matter of trust.
If what you say is true, and you claim that I lived in durban near you,why then did you not respond to the SNC i filed with bidorbuy with all these made up complaints. You need to learn the meaning of integrity and get with the program.Furthermore, if you claim that you are still prepared to conclude, then why aren't you making an effort to come and see the item. After all, YOU placed the bid therefore you obviously want???!!! it, dont you?
