Lovely Victorian gilded .800 silver shell cameo brooch. This lovely antique cameo would date back to the late 1800s, and is made from shell with an ornate .800 gilded silver frame. The lady on the cameo has upswept hair and an upturned nose, indicating Victorian fashion. The brooch measures 4cm x 3cm. It is marked .800 on the fastening pin, and has been tested as .800 silver. It is in fair condition for its age - needs a good clean and pendant is a bit loose in the frame. Lovely buy.
