Map of 'India - North-Eastern Section', 1924. Includes Nepal, Bhutan, and upper Burma.

Central fold. Short tear without loss on the fold, a little foxing and small marks in the margins. Very good condition.

This map dates from the 'beginning of the end' for the Raj. A little over two decades later, India would be partitioned - hastily and bloodily - and Bangladesh would come into being in part of the area shown on this map.
