Product OverviewThe MAX249CQH+D is a +5V powered multichannel RS232 driver/receiver in 44 pinPLCC package. This device is intended for all EIA/TIA-232E and V.28/V.24communications interfaces. It is particularly suitable for applications where±12V is not available. The MAX249 has four sections such as dual charge pump DCto DC voltage converter, RS232 driver, RS232 receiver and receiver/transmitterenable control inputs. The integrated charge pump circuitry eliminates the needfor bipolar ±12V supply and enables single supply operation from +5V supply.
